So it's that time of year...
When I come back from months of not blogging to remind you that November is almost here and November means NaNoWriMo is almost here again.
This year will be different from previous years because I have my shit together this year. I have my bullet journal specifically designed for writing. Specifically designed for NaNoWriMo writing. I have no less than 4 word tracker charts ready to go, plus an Excel spreadsheet tracker. I have my version of an "outline." It's like a generic synopsis, a general idea of where I want the story to go. The only problem is that I don't know if I want the story to end or if I want a cliff hanger type ending for a sequel. I know how I am at writing sequels. I think it could be an exciting series. But I'm writing a bit out of my comfort zone this year, so I'm not sure if I want to commit to more than one book.
If you're curious, I'm sticking to young adult, but this one has a bit of a time travel twist in it. So I've been researching the time period my characters are in and traveling to, plus I'm using all my Back to the Future knowledge. And that new show Timeless that just started? Perfect timing. I'm taking notes from it too, just in case. So we'll see what happens.
To everyone else on the NaNoWriMo bandwagon, good luck and god speed and may ALL THE WORDS fill your page.
